REFORM
Jamie Evar and Heather Kushman are the owners of REFORM lifestyle boutiques and their personal flair coupled with many years of retail experience, passion, and an innate sense for "creating the REFORM look" has made REFORM a unique shopping destination in Bergen County. REFORM has recently expanded with a new store, REFORMEN, an exciting addition to the men’s fashion scene in the area. There are very few men’s clothing boutiques in the county, let alone ones as stylish and cool as REFORMEN.
REFORM style has a West Coast influence – a laid-back, relaxed way of dressing with a chic, edgy vibe. The California-inspired clothing at the boutique is refreshing for the North East, and the boutique features many premium brands that are unique and not easy to find in this area.
We asked Bri Mankovsky from the boutique to fill us in on what makes the store different and she shared that “REFORM has a unique and up-and-coming style. The clothes at the store are versatile, you can wear them to a soccer game and then straight to dinner.”
She also filled us in on the uptick in loungewear purchases at Reform. People who are working from home want to stay comfortable and still look their best, and they can find that in the high-quality loungewear offered at Reform. She also shared that there has been an influx of new people in Bergen County from New York City where the retail scene is high-end, and that has led to more demand for trendy clothes in the county. Madison Lux
Madison Lux is the definition of cute. This boutique clothing and accessory store is new to Dumont, having opened shortly before the pandemic started. The owner, Madison Vacco, is a Bergen County native from Cresskill who took a leap and decided to start this store while still in college. She said since she was a fashion major when the opportunity arose, it just made sense for her to jump on it.
Madison curates all of the clothes and accessories at the boutique and she does an amazing job doing so. This boutique is loaded with chic clothes, cute jewelry, and colorful fashion staples. The style in the store is youthful, fun, and definitely trendy. They even carry the famous TikTok leggings! (the one’s that make everyone’s booty look fabulous) They also carry stylish loungewear, so you can feel cute and comfortable working from home.

Marcia’s Attic
Marcia’s Attic has been a staple in Bergen County retail for years, but it has recently moved locations. The trendy fashion boutique used to be located in Englewood but has since moved to the Closter Plaza. This new location is large and stocked full of fashion finds!
The store carries clothes for girls 12+ and women. The style of the store is bright, fresh, and fun with a huge selection. This is a great place for a mother-daughter shopping day since they have plenty of clothing options for both! You can even get matching outfits in certain selections.
From tie-dye dresses to leopard print tops, this boutique has you covered on statement pieces. They also have stunning accessories from beach bags to purses and jewelry. We love these adorable mini purses, they are very on-trend.
Marcia’s Attic is definitely a must-visit store if you want to add a pop of color to your closet!
