While CycleBar is best known for improving cardiovascular endurance, the workouts go beyond just cardio. Every ride includes an upper-body section using arm bars attached to each bike, giving riders a chance to build their upper body and core strength while they ride.
For those looking to take it up a notch, the Strength Ride incorporates three to four tracks of dedicated upper-body training, targeting the shoulders, back, chest, and arms for a well-rounded workout.

But what truly sets CycleBar Closter apart is its community-driven atmosphere. The owner Akhil Verma started out as a rider himself before taking the leap into ownership with his wife, Purnima.
Together, they’ve built more than just a fitness studio, they’ve cultivated a space where every rider feels welcome, supported, and inspired. In fact, all of the instructors began as riders too, which gives every class an authentic, approachable energy.
